La DoubleJ Summer Garden at The Dorchester
The Dorchester's summer garden blooms in Mayfair, in collaboration with bright and joyous Italian design house La DoubleJ. Maximalist prints, tree-high kinetic sculptures and colourful tableware create a radiant outdoor space, complementing the delicious seasonal menu from Vesper Bar. Its Milanese small plates, foccacia sandwiches, and delightful drinks are available to dine in or to take-away.

From light plates such as courgette flower fritti and morsetti di lasagne, to signature focaccia sandwiches with fillings such as bresaola with sun-dried tomato, mozzarella and pesto, or gorgonzola with pistachio, tomato and rocket, we're serving relaxed outdoor dining with a Milanese twist. Perfect for a warm summer’s day.

Exquisite Italian craftsmanship shines through in La DoubleJ’s vibrant designs. From hand-blown Murano glassware to artisanal printed cushions, every detail is considered. Even the wind sculptures, created by artist Lyman Whitaker, are the same ones that feature at La DoubleJ’s headquarters.

Our summer garden is made for relaxed afternoons and evening drinks. The menu from Vesper Bar takes on a la dolce vita spirit, from crisp Italian wine to classic cocktails such as the sparkling Negroni sbagliato and a lemony Italian 75.
