We're celebrating the end of the year with a sparkling collaboration at Bar 228. Discover 'Baccarat x Black Bar', a showcase of French creativity and craftsmanship – and enjoy unique cocktails created just for the occasion, served in Baccarat's iconic glasses.

You can observe a Yule log with a modern take. It is the replica of a Citrus Basket, made up of a Japanese citrus biscuit, with alternating layers of lemon, orange and grapefruit. The flavour of berry marmalade is combined with a vanilla mousse to create a smooth, rounded texture.

You can see a Yule Log, inspired by the flavors of Mont-Blanc, a classic French pastry. It represents a basket of chestnuts, composed of gel and praline. The the wicker-style basket made from a Japanese cookie covered with a hazelnut praline crunch with meringue chips. Chestnut cream and pouring heart, wrapped in a light vanilla mousse, complete the dessert.

Baskets of delight

This year, our yule logs are shaped into the form of two very different baskets. Choose between the light and fresh Citrus Basket, made with alternating layers of lemon, orange and grapefruit, or the rich, Mont-Blanc-inspired Chestnut Basket.
